My Photography Essay

My photo essay i'm going to produce will be about my dog, they will be taken on a normal day of him while hes enjoying his life, and i will take a minimum of 10 pictures. These 10 photos will include my dogs

1. My dog sleeping (Morning) - this picture will show him as hes sleeping in his bed in the early morning as the sun rises. The shot will be at an angle so i can get the whole shot of him in the photo.

2. Dog lead photo - This is going to be a shot where i'm going to have his lead on a table, and i want to take it at a good angle so it shows the object in a good light and brings an effect on the photo.

3. A shot of him out in the garden - this will be of him enjoying his space outside and ideally i want to have a shot of him at the side looking around the garden.

4. He will then have one taken wheres playing with my nephew - This will be a closeup shot of my dog next to my nephew and i want to get the moment where my dog looks at him,

5. A shot of his paw prints on the floor where hes come in muddy - it will be a closeup of his paw marks and it will be shot in a light surrounding so the mark comes out clear.

6. Playing with his toys - this will be another closeup when he has a toy in his mouth and enjoying himself.

7. A closeup shot of his empty dog bowl - this will be edited in black and white as i want to give the feeling that he's sad that he has no food and the black and white contrast will give that effect.

8. Photo of him looking up - This is going to be of him waiting for his food and he'll be looking up, this will be from the side again so it shows the whole of his body as well. I'm going to edit this so its black and white as well.

9. One of him eating his dinner - This will show him at another closeup of him enjoying his meal this will be back in colour again.

10. His bed with him sleeping (Night) - This will be taken to finish off the day of his life, it will be shot at an angle again and i want to get a good shot of his face when the photo is taken.

The presentation will have each individual image on a separate powerpoint slide so that the photos each have there own page. The text for the photos will be placed underneath so that it describes what is happening in each shot. There will be 11 slides 10 of them being the actual photos while the 11th will be my title page.

The audience for my pictures will be people who are mostly pet lovers or people who love dogs in general.
The pictures i will take will have a blend of colour and black and white to give different feelings in the photos.
